Both the slide card and slim tools are included with every Swap Magic 3.8 for your convenience.Swap Magic 3.8 is the perfect solution for playing backups.

Swap Magic 3 MUST be used with included slim tools for the slim ps2 and Slide Tool / Flip Top Cover for the original Phat / FAT PS2 Systems.

Swap Magic 3.8 allows you to boot up your own application or game software CDs and DVDs on your PS2 console. The latest Swap Magic 3.8 has much better compatibility than the original 3.0 did and it also supports all PS2 models, including PSTwo SCPH-70000.
#Cogswap ps2 download how to
Or there was only one version 1.0 released? Also if to talk about game compatibility-what has higher game compatibility- (Or better say Higher Backup Compatibility) - Swap Magic or Cogswap?Anyway -you need FMCB, COGSWAP.elf and ORIGINAL PS2 GAME DVD with the biggest size you can find-and method to make system think that backup is original game-I would recommend Flip Top Cover.Remember-You do not need any more PS1 Game in order to launch COGSWAP, You can launch Cogswap.elf from FMCBHere is a video tutorial how to swap discs with CogSwap:Last edited by SkyNet at 05:42 AM. But remember that in slim ps2 you have to block sensors or use Flip Top Cover for slim and in Fat ps2 you have to use whether Slide card or also Flip Top Cover for FAT PS2 in order for Swapping to work.In other words COGSWAP-it is free alternative to SWAP MAGIC.I just wondering like how many versions of CogSwap were released by Hermes? Cogswap will show that PS2 Game is in drive.Press X on gamepad -the colour will change from yellow to blue and it will say 'Use CogSwap'.So now depending on PS2 you got-slim or fat SWAP the ps2 game disc with backup. From FMCB launch Cogswap.elf -(CogSwapLoader V1.0 by Hermes)- and insert in ps2- 'Original Licensed PS2 Game' with High TOC (High TOC-means the Biggest size of game you can find). If you really want to play with 'Swapping' -but do not want to buy Expensive as I understand from my own experience Swap Magic discs (Price of Discs+ Shipping-Expensive)-You can use instead -FMCB. Without that (or possibly an original game disc with a large TOC), the mechacon simply will not allow code to read from CDVD.Instead of using ESR, you could try OPL, which can load games from USB drives (slowest, USB 1.1 speed only), SMB/CIFS Windows-compatible fileshare (medium speed), or internal HDD. You can boot SM from an.ELF, but you won't gain the benefits of being able to swap, as that function relies on the physical SM disc (CD or DVD type) in order to fool the mechacon into reading most single-layer games.
